These are my finished map designs I chose a block colour design. I drew the environments using strait lines in Photoshop and then filling them with a block colour. I felt that the technique used helped add to the style and feeling of the game as well as matching the art style used on the characters.

I chose to use colours like blue and purple because I wanted the game to give off a sombre feeling but when receiving peer feedback I was told that they did not think it matched the play style there for I decided to change some of the colours to make it look more cartoony and changed my target audience to younger audience instead of an older audience. I feel that this was the correct choice and I am happy with the results.

I am happy with the outcome of my landscapes, I think that they look very high quality and stick to a consistent style.
