When doing ideas research I found some mechanical toy designs. I liked the idea of this and did some further research on the production. When researching I found that parts were commonly laser cut out as for it achieved the levels of accuracy required for a working model.

If I were to recreate a 3D model in with this style I would like to make a dinosaur walk in a design similar to the dog in my pictures. I would laser cut the complex mechanical parts out of plywood or maybe pine on the laser cutter for it is the most cost efficient and accurate and I would 3D print the body design for a 3D printer allows greater creative freedom. If I were to encounter time issues I would make the dinosaur on the 3D printer and use a more simplistic design.
