Simon Weaner is a concept artist working for the Quebec, Canada based company VOLTA. He uses a matte painting method and has developed concept art for a variety of games (Last of us, Star wars etc.) He mainly paints landscapes with a focus on atmosphere over character design. There are some character designs on his deviant art but he normally only develops characters to fill a scene. I love the atmosphere he sets with his landscapes.

Vladimir Tomilov is a Russian designer currently working for VontageOne. He works in interior design and product design. He has many different unique designs designing unique and modern concepts using materials such as wood, plastic and metal. He likes to design things with space economy in mid and thinks of new and clever ways to conceal things into his designs. I like the modern look of all of his designs my favourite being the bed that has a desk that folds out from under it.

Lloyd Allen is a concept artist working for Guerrilla Games he has worked on concept art for games such as horizon zero dawn and injustice gods among us. He uses his artwork as a method of visual story telling normally showing that main character in the environment set. He has been working on a project called project Naitos were he has developed a story by making multiple concept arts and stringing them all together. My favourite is his work on Horizon zero dawn for I feel that he sets the story perfectly with the layouts of his art.

Dan John Cox is a freelance artist that is currently working for Ubisoft on the creation of an unannounced game. He has worked on games such as splinter cell and Gamma World. He uses programs such as Photoshop, auto desk and unreal to make his in game assets. I like his realistic style and how you can tell the story of an object by the textures he has but on it.
