1) What is the quality of the animation?

a) The quality of the 2d animation was breathtaking, as watching it move was very fluent, and captured the feeling of watching a real animal fly. The motion was set in time with the sound provided, which made it so much better.

b) When looking at the 2D animation the first thing I notice is how fluent it is. It was very smooth and had little to no juddering. All together it was a very high quality animation and the sounds were very realistic.

2) What is the quality of the 3D animation

a) From looking at the 3D animation, it was quite outstanding to see the amount of effort that has been put in. The movement did look a bit clunky, but this looked to be the first time working with this method, which looked very hard to pull off. Overall, a very nice 3D animation.

b) The toy was very impressive. It was an extremely ambitous project and looked like it came out well. There was a little issue of it not haveing very smooth movements but for a project as hard to pull of as this it is to be expected.

3) How was the planning

a) The planning that has gone in to this has been very clear, and has shown how dedicated he has been into making this work. The sketches and storyboard were very clear in what he was trying to convey, and the 3D model was perfectly detailed, showing every single detail into making it work.

b) The 3D CAD model was ver high quality and showed a very clear and presice example of what he wanted to build and looked almost identical to the finished product. The storyboards were simple yet effective by only showing the information that was needed to make the animation. alltogether it shows a very well thought out design and exicution.

When looking at the feedback I can see that people thought that my 2D animation was of high quality and that most people liked the idea I had for my 3D model. A recording opinion on the model was how stiff the movements were but as written in the blog this is due to some of the glue setting in the holes and how it will get smoother with use, another factor being it is quite hard to turn while recording.
