When developing the final design for my logo I chose to use the Celtic knot work drawing I used in one of my moc-up logos. I also looked at the recycling logo and tried to draw something similar in shape to it. I tried to make the logo look more modern, giving it pointed ends and a smoother look to it for I felt that the problem with my mock up version was that it followed the style too rigidly and did not try anything new hence why it lacked uniqueness.

I am happy with the current design of my logo. It does a good job of keeping to its roots as well as having a unique look to it. The visible reference to the recycling symbol is very quaint but you can vaguely see the direction i was aiming when making the logo.
