Brand identity

The finished brand identity I chose uses a Celtic theme. I made it like this because Celtic artwork was my strongest inspiration when developing my logo so I decided to make it an ongoing theme and used the Celtic word Bragi for the title (the Norse god of music). When developing the typography for the logo I tried to follow a similar style to the logo. I tried multiple ways of writing it but i found it difficult to do so I ended up settling on a more minimalist and toned down version of what I was going to do.
After developing a logo I went onto develop a working website prototype that can be visited by following this link http://nathankerswill.wix.com/bragi in this website I designed it to instantly portray that the company is a modern nature based company. I wanted the general mood to be warm which I did by using light and deep colors like orange and green in the opening photo. I wanted the website to have a modern and structured design while still keeping the natural feeling. I tried to do this by segregating all of the different tabs with boxes and using simple colors like black and grey but kept the natural feeling by accenting things with browns and using subtle imagry and animations to make the website seem more fluid and natural to navigate.
The finished website came out better than I had first thought it would. The layout looked very profesional and I feel that i clearly portrayed the message I was trying to with the creation of the brand.
