I am interested in product design. It is because of this that I intend to make a working product and brand to go along with it. One of my main hobbies is listening to music I will be listening to music in every situation that allows it. Whether I am out with my friends working or just sitting at home I will always be listening to music. It is because of this that I have chosen to make a Bluetooth speaker. When researching other companies to use as an example for my company I came across a company called OneTree. Their company is built around the idea of preserving the environment and producing as little waste as possible. I intend to build this mentality into my company concept making a sustainable eco-friendly environment the running theme of my company.

I am yet to think of a name for my company but I know the theme. I will focus on a natural theme making each product unique and economical. After thinking about the theme and feeling I wanted to give off I have decided that I will build my Bluetooth speaker out of entirely recycled wood offcuts. I will use face gluing techniques to give of a unique and stylish design to my speaker giving it its own unique texture. For the shape of the body I intend to seamlessly combine contemporary and traditional techniques while still keeping a natural flow to the design. The interior wiring will be made from salvaged electronic parts that I take from old speaker units. I may end up purchasing items like the actual speakers for I don’t want to sacrifice any build quality. The size of the speaker will depend entirely on the parts that are available to salvage but I want it to be versatile and easy to carry out with you so I don’t want it to be too large.
I intend to develop an eco-friendly brand by doing extensive research on marketing techniques and logo design. I will look at advertising techniques used by other companies and use them as an example for the development of my brand. The speaker will use a variety of production techniques and materials and I intend to product a high quality and desirable product.
