Portfolio development

I made my portfolio using WIX for it gave the most creative freedom. When developing my portfolio I decided that I wanted it to be very minimalist with a black and white colour scheme. For the home page I took and edited a photo of a road and used it on the home page. I thought it looked nice because it set the mood well.

I put my artwork in a drop down bar with the categories; Photography, illustrations, design and products each one showing a different set of work. I chose a simple square show for the images because it fit the minimalist theme. In the future I may make the images black and white but I am torn between the two options

I chose to implement my blog into my portfolio so that people viewing my portfolio can see what I have been doing as well as the fact that the WIXs’ new blogging feature was much better than other blogging options.

On my about slide I wrote a paragraph briefly showing my core skills as well as providing a quick 1st impression for any viewers of my portfolio. I also added an email function that allows people to email me with ease. I also attached my CV so that any potential employers can get hold of it easily.
